Attributed to George Carlin:
New Rule: The more complicated the Starbucks order, the bigger the a-hole. If you walk into a Starbucks and order a "decaf grande half-soy, half-low fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread cappuccino, extra dry, light ice, ! with one Sweet-n'-Low and one NutraSweet," ooh, you're a huge a-hole

Thank you for the great coffees
I had a few wonderful coffees from Intelligentsia Coffee in Chicago over the last 3 weeks. All of these coffees had been roasted around 6-5 or 6-6-06.
Black Cat espresso is their most popular and it was the first to go. Deep, rich and full of chocolate.
Oromo Blend was the mystery to me. I used it for espresso and drip coffee, and loved them both.
Red Sea blendwas fun to drink. They said "Blueberries", I said "Naw" then I tasted berries!
Yemen Sanani was the wild card in the bunch. The risk was rewarded. The best experience in this cup was the red wine aftertaste, slightly tannin on the tougue.
Thank you Lyn for bringing some back to your humble barista!
